Professional Experience

Sept 2022 - May 2023

Undergraduate Student Grader

Collaborated with course professor to gain comprehensive understanding of course material and grading expectations. Graded a diverse range of student assignments, providing constructive feedback to foster academic growth and encourage improvement in subsequent tasks. Assisted students in understanding grading feedback, encouraging a dialogue about their progress and areas for development.

Sept 2022 - Dec 2022

Undergraduate Teaching Assistant

At Purdue University (ECE), I executed laboratory experiments for the Microprocessor Systems and Interfacing course, including designing writing experiment code, deepening understanding of embedded systems and signal processing. Delivered specific topics related to the course, such as introducing use of DAC and ADC. Mentored student projects, such as guiding students in developing an ARM-based operating system using C programming language, providing guidance for project design and implementation.

Education

Projects

Assembly language parser and virtual machine (C++)

Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming that are relevant to building a parser and virtual machine, such as lexical analysis, syntax parsing, and stack-based execution. Researched, developed, and implemented a lexical analysis algorithm for a class project that accurately scanned and parsed a large input file with minimal errors, resulting in a 100% accuracy rate. Demonstrated proficiency in stack-based execution by designing, building, testing, and debugging a simple virtual machine that successfully executed a small set of opcode instructions.

New York Bike Traffic Analysis (Python)

Led a team and performed statistical analysis on bicycle count data to identify patterns and trends.Used Excel and Python to normalize data, calculate mean squared errors, and identify the factors affecting bicycle usage in NYC, improving accuracy of forecasting bicycle usage.
